Chris E. Maeder, P.E., is the Engineering Director at BOSS International, in Madison, Wisconsin.
BOSS International develops and markets high-end water resource civil engineering software, such as RiverCAD that automates river modeling in AutoCAD and StormNET that automates stormwater and wastewater modeling in both a standalone and AutoCAD Civil 3D version.
- Chris received a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with minor in Computer Science, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI (Summa Cum Laude, 1986), and B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI (Magna Cum Laude, 1984).
Having consulted in over 100 projects over a period of 20+ years in various civil engineering projects across the world, Chris also conducts professional engineering training for civil engineers. He has been widely praised for his excellent presentation skills and engineering knowledge at various training courses he has held across the world.
Besides being an engineer, a consultant, and a trainer, Chris is also very involved in the software development side of BOSS. He has an eye for perfection in the software development department, and also sets very high standards for BOSS’ technical support team. BOSS International’s support team have been praised very highly for their quick response time and willingness to make the extra effort to help in a professional manner.
