SWMM and WASP linkage

Hello,

I'm working on a project involving the use of SWMM and WASP5 together, and I have a few questions about taking the output from SWMM and using it as input to DYNHYD and WASP.

1. I have found that the TRANSPORT block can create a file specifically for input to WASP, using the H2 and H3 lines. Am I correct that this is the only block that can do this?

2. Several mentions are made in the SWMM manual (Huber and Dickinson, October 1992) about SWMM being coupled to DYNHYD and WASP (version 3) by way of the SWMM interface file, with the implication being that DYNHYD and WASP can actually open and read a SWMM interface file. But I find no mention whatsoever of this in the WASP (version 5) manual. Are they able to do this in their stock form, or do I need to rewrite the data from the interface file into the format that DYNHYD and WASP expect for nonpoint sources?

3. Is SWMM 4.4 any different from 4.31 with respect to these questions? Without a complete manual for 4.4 it's difficult for me to tell.

Thanks for any help.
