Spnsrvnt.exe

We are running RiverCad 2000. I have the latest patch for RiverCad installed.

We are using the network hardware lock.

I install the RiverCad software from our network.

We are running Windows 2000 SP3.

RiverCad installs a file called SPNSRVNT.EXE on the PCs. The file is in the RiverCad folder and the Winnt\System32 folder. It loads up automatically when Windows starts.

When ever I put ANY CD in the CD-ROM drive in the PC and then remove the CD I get the following message:

--------------------------------
SPNSRVNT.EXE - No Disk

There is no disk in the drive
Please insert disk into drive
--------------------------------

The PC still works fine except for the error message box that pops up. No matter what button I click on the box the message keeps coming back (If I keep on trying to click the buttons continously).

If I don't click on any buttons or try to close the message box at all...after a few minutes I can click on the box and it will go away.

How can I make this error message stop?
Do I need to have SPNSRVNT.EXE running at all?
