Bill,
HMS stores most of its data (input and output) in the project DSS file. You should be able to use the HEC-DSS programs (DSPLAY, DSSUTL, REPGEN, etc.) to generate graphs and reports. REPGEN is the report generator. I have not used it in years and am not sure what kind of reports from the HMS data you would be able to generate. It was primarily used to generate canned reports from real-time water control operations. DSPLAY will work well for displaying time series data from the model. You can use DSSUTL to tabulate data into an ASCII file that you can import into another program such as EXCEL or WORD.
They are available on the HEC web-site for download. The manuals are also available. The programs are quite dated and are DOS based. I have not had any problem using them in a DOS window in NT or 2000. I have not tried XP. The drivers for DSPLAY are even more dated since the company that developed them has been out of business for years.
You can also use the DSS button in HEC-RAS to view DSS time series data.
