Re: SWMM/Vortechs BMP data

I am currently developing a storm water management plan for The Douglas Border (Peace Arch) crossing between Vancouver, BC and Bellingham Washington. We have not completed the SWMP at this time but we were planning on using the Vortechnics oil water separator. The projects has been registered for LEEDS (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. LEEDS was developed by the US Green Building Council.

The people at Vortechnics are very proactive and have been consulting with the US Green Building Council to see if their system can satisfy the LEEDS criteria for stormwater quality. The people at Vortechnics in Vancouver also have recently installed systems on Vancouver Island and they may have some information and data on those systems.

I don't have their phone numbers or email addresses with me at this time but I could get them for you if you are interested.

Cheers
