When importing, the river stations would mesh like a zipper and you don't want that?
If that is the case, you will have to rename (renumber) the river stations of one the reaches. You can either rename the river stations before importing, or I believe you can change the names during the importing process.
If renaming before importing, from the geometry editor, select the Tables menu and select River Stations. From this editor, you can , for instance, add a constant to all of the river stations. By adding a constant you can get one of the reaches to have all of its river stations either upstream/downstream of the other reach.
