"Time-Weights" are used to compute the time pattern of the computed hyetograph. The temporal pattern comes from the precipitation gage data. The program uses the depth-weights first to compute the total storm precipitation depth for the subbasin. Then the time-weights are used to compute a time pattern to distribute the total depth. The gage weights method does not compute a "balanced" hyetograph. It will compute a hyetograph that is similar to the gaged data. The frequency storm method will compute a "balanced" hyetograph.
