exactly at the same step, generating "background map file" and "basin file", I get an the same error:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {14BD74CF-DF42-491A-BEE7-8437E6BB0B93} failed due to the following error: 80040154. Map file location=C:\documents and settings\administrator.d-uwis01\desktop\buoh\buoh.map
We tried to install the HEC-GeoHMS as suggested in those instructions by ESRI (forums.esri.com/Attachments/30875.doc). The only hint we could find is the following blog-entry:

Not being programmers and not possessing the HEC-GeoHMS source code we are not able to solve the problem as described.
Trish, did you find a solution? Or does anyone else have an idea what kind of problem this is and how this problem can be solved? Any help is appreciated a lot.
