merging 2 different files

hello everyone,
i am looking for a way to merge the networks that i have designed in 2 separate files... into one, and run a unified analysis...
the 2 separate networks will now be 'reaching' the same detention pond, and as such i would like to place them in one unified network to simulate the conditons after the pond.

alternatively, i could (even though its not an elegant solution) place in both files the detention pond, and run 2 separate analyses so as to see the output flow (Q1, Q2 for net1 and net2 respectively) of each network separately to the pond and then use that time-varying Q1 to add it as a second means of input to the net2 network and rerun the net2 analysis to get the total results... is this possible?

thank you in advance for your help.
