Nonconvergence Limitations have been exceeded

Hello Chris I got my dambreak model to run the analysis and that is great for me.

However, in my output analysis it gave this message "Nonconvergence Limitations Have Been Exceeded". Is there somewhere in the program that would allow the Nonconvergence Limitations to be expanded to allow it to converge?

Also, how can I print out selected results instead of all of the results?

Thanks,

Re: Nonconvergence Limitations have been exceeded

Dear Gary :

Glad that you got your model to work.

Unfortunately, the number of nonconvergence trials can not be increased. However, you can increase the stage convergence criterion. The default is 0.01 ft. You could try increasing this to 0.05 ft (or perhaps even more). This might help your model. The stage convergence criterion is defined in the Boundary Conditions screen.

To print out only a select page from the DAMBRK output, I generally open the DAMBRK output file in MS WORD and then hightlight the text that I want to print out, and then print. Note that you generally need to select a Courier font, with a font size of 8 points (or smaller) for it to fit on a page.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.
