Too high velocity. FLDWAV.

Dear all,

I have a problem with a river junction. My velocity goes up to strange values (20 -70 m/s) in the last section of the tributary river, before the junction with the main river.

This happens to me in different models (different dam-break analysis). Is this normal?, there is no bed level variation.

Also, there is a very high speed after a derivation dam (I have the main dam and a derivation dam in the same river, the tributary). I think it is far beyond the expected increase of velocity.

Any comments very welcome.

Best regards,
