Modeling of lateral inflow

Hello,

I'm trying to model the breach of an embankment that divides an upper pond from a lower pond. The floodwater would fill the lower pond and probably overtop it in its critical point. The lower pond has also inflow values from existing drainages. What would be the best way to model this inflow? Should I use the "lateral flow" function at an specific x-section in the lower pond?

Thank you.

Oswald.

Re: Modeling of lateral inflow

Dear Oswald:

I would model the drainage inflow into the lower pond using the lateral inflow option. It should do a good job of it.
