Problem due to change of manning values

We have generated the run of a wave through a valley using constant manning values of 0.05 (in every cross section and at every elevation).

Then we changed the manning values from 0.05 to 0.07 and to 0.04 to see the effect on the wave.

There were no problems with manning values of 0.05 and 0.07, but it didn´t run with 0.04 ("error generated in output").

We tried to change the time step and interpolation distance, but this was not successfull.

Can you give us a hint?

Thank you very much,
Karin and Bethi

Re: Problem due to change of manning values

Karin and Bethi:

I would recommend reviewing the DAMBRK output file for the reported error message and determine at what cross section the problem is occurring at. Then, review the cross section geometry that this corresponds to and the adjacent cross sections. This might give you some idea why DAMBRK is having convergence problems.
