Uncontrolled spillway crest elevation cannot be above top of dam

Chris,

I am trying to run a dambrk file I set up but am encountering an error. The error is "uncontrolled spillway crest elevation cannot be above top of dam elevation at dam cross-section mile 0."

I copied and pasted the cross-section information below in hopes that you can direct me to where the error is in my input.

I thought that the spillway crest elevation is below the top of dam elevation in my input. Is there something I am missing or have inputted incorrectly?

At mile 0 the cross section is set up as follows for a dam:

RESERVOIR AND BREACH DESCRIPTION

Re: Uncontrolled spillway crest elevation cannot be above top of dam

Dear Jennifer :

I looked at the input data that you furnished, and you have a sloping dam crest defined. However, the lower end of the sloping dam crest elevation is at 18.50 ft and your spillway elevation is at 20.40 ft. Hence, DAMBRK is stating that this does not make sense. The dam will start to overtop before the spillway starts to become active.

Sincerely,
