Dambrk module in RiverCAD

Dear Mr.Chris Maeder

In a reply to a question at the RMS/RiverCAD discussion forum page, you mention that a complete Dambrk module is planned for RiverCAD. Is there possible to get an update on release date and pricing for this module? I would also appreciate a pricing for updating older versions of RCAD to the new 4.0 version.

The DEM Module in the new Rivercad 4.0 now supports direct importation of USGS SDTS (Spatial Data Transfer Standard) DEM files. Does that mean that RiverCad can read common map-files like those used by commercial GIS packages like ESRI`s Arcview?? In other words, what kind of file formats are compatible with the SDTS???

Sincerely
Inge Anundskås

Re: Dambrk module in RiverCAD

Dear Inge Anundskås :

We plan to release a DAMBRK Module this summer. Pricing has not been established at this time. However, I will get Bob Klemp in touch with you concerning upgrading to RiverCAD 4.0.

The DEM Module can import ESRI ARC/INFO and ArcVIEW gridded data. When you import a file, you need ot specify which format you are importing.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.

Sincerely,
