Error in POW Function

Chris, was making a run using Boss Dambrk, after hitting the execute command and before the routing computations started there was the following error statement that appeared on the screen:

Domain error in pow.

The program then continued to perform the routing computations and provided results.

I had been working on a river system, approx. 20 miles in length. I just added one new cross section to the model that was working and this statement appeared.

What does this statement mean?

Re: Error in POW Function

Dear Joe Kissel :

This is simply an error message reported by the math co-processor on the Intel chip. It means that somewhere in the FORTRAN math library DAMBRK called the POW (power function) and it failed. It can't really help you in troubleshooting your DAMBRK model. Better to try a few things and perhaps simplify your DAMBRK model.

If you have any additional questions or need any further information, please contact me again.
