Negative Pressure

Hello,
I would like to get some assistance with the following:
How can eliminate negative pressure in a single pipe system. The system consist of a groundwater well, pump and tank. I'm using the pump to provide head. I delete the elevation of each node to eliminate the negative pressure. Is that even correct?
