Re: ArcView and EPAnet
We've had some success linking ArcView and EPANET, through a combination of Avenue scripts and a stand-alone program called HDRLink. We use Avenue scripts to create a series of database files containing information on the distribution system and the land use patterns.
HDRLink takes these database files, calculates demands at every node (based on the land use), and writes the EPANET input file. We also use HDRLink to read the EPANET output file and create an output database that can be brought back into ArcView. It's not as seamless as we'd like, but it works.
