Calibration of a quality model

Hallo!
I think that Ihave the same problem. I am supposed to calibrate these
two quality models I am researching. It's been really hard to admit
that my data set is not good enough. I've been thinking, thinking.
This is what my problem is about: I have flow and pressure
measurements in the 4 reservoirs (inflow) and tracer-concentration
measurements in the junctions in the pipenetwork. I am not able to use
this measured data set as input file because model has to compute
something as well and then is computed parameter different than the
measured (because there is pump as wel). So I was in the vicious
circle. I had al the measures but not enough. I thought that I can not
see right, but now I know that this is a common problem with
calibration. I'll find my way, I hope.

Regards and thanks, this is really useful comunication
