Rainfall Intensity-Kinetic Energy Relationship

I am doing measurements on Rainfall Intensity and Kinetic Energy using Disdrometer. My intention is to establish a relationsip between Intensity and Rainfall Kinetic Energy for erosion studies in one of the islands of the Philippines. With the record at hand (rainfall events from Nov 2001 up to the present) the relationship I obtained is close to the one recommended by Rosewell for New South Wales and also to the expression recommended by van Dijk for West Java.
