Bubbler flowmeter calibration

I am currently involved in a calibration process of a bubbler flowmeter (ISCO 4230). I am having a big problem because I dont´t know the expression used by the flowmeter to determine the flow, only with the level...I only know that it has a transducer...I tied to use the maning formula and some basic expressions of flow measurement...If anyone could help me, I would be very grateful because this is my graduation final project...

Re: Bubbler flowmeter calibration

If you are using the Isco 4230 bubbler flowmeter, it is only performing a level measurement. Internally it is converting level to flow based on the primary device. The 4230 is usually used with a flume or a weir; the 4230 has most of these equations stored in memory.

If you are not using a primary device, you can enter an equation to convert level to flow. For help with this, call the Isco Toll-Free number: 800-228-4373 during the Nebraska business day and a human being will help walk you through this.

Another technique for converting level information to flow would be to pull the stored data (the 4230 has an onboard data logger) into Flow Link software. You can then take the level points into any equation and display in graphic or tabular format.
