offline detention basin

I am trying to model an urban catchment with several detention basins in transport. One of the basins is an offline detention basin that is filled of the flow exceeds the capacity of a throttle pipe. The basin slopes towards the inlet, so inlet and outlet are in fact through the same pipe. So far I found no way to model this situation. Can anyone help me on that issue?

I think you are running into Transport's main limitation - it does not reflect backwater. Recommend that you model this in EXTRAN, which can easily handle this situation.
