Individual sub-basins or entire project?

Running my first PCSWMM model here. My first model of any kind to be more specific. My site consists of several different sub-basins. I was wondering if it's better to model the entire site as one project, or to break it up and model each sub-basin individually. It seems like it would be easier to manage if broken into sub-basins but I'm not sure if I would sacrifice any accuracy of the real world occurances.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Individual sub-basins or entire project?

Jeff,

There in lies the crux of the matter. Will the flow from one basin affect the other basins? If the answer is "yes", then include all basins in one model. However, even if the flow from one basin affects other basins, will that flow substantially change the end result? You probably will not know until you model the basins. Therefore you might as well model the basins all together.
