The Registration Brochure for the 28th International Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium, to be held in Wollongong NSW Australia from 10th to 13th November, is now available on the Symposium web page at:

In its 40-year history, the Symposium has offered a rare opportunity for academics, researchers and practitioners to assemble under the one roof and discuss their experiences, increase their networking opportunities or simply socialise.

In holding the 2003 Symposium in Wollongong, NSW, the Organising Committee hopes to provide a relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and in doing so showcase one of the premier tourist destinations of the NSW south coast region.

The main theme for the 2003 Symposium is simply "About Water"; getting back to basics and understanding the fundamental relationships between water and related environments, while recognising the ever-increasing emphasis on water quality and the ecological aspects of hydrology and water resource management.

The Call for Papers attracted a very strong response and the 2003 Symposium promises to maintain the high standard set by previous symposia in this series.
