SWMMers,
I am a first time user, setting up a model to determine if there is capacity within an existing storm drainage system to dump more stormwater to it from a proposed storm drainage system. I am setting the model up in SWMM5 Beta. I am looking for advise or references in regards to determining the characteristic width of a subcatchment and advice or references in regards to determining reasonable values for depth of depression storage of a subcatchment. Advice on quick methods used to determine/check if results are reasonable and general comments are also welcome. Thanks!
