channel infiltration

SWMM crew-

I am trying to figure out the best way to incorporate channel infiltration losses into my model - the stream system I am modeling is ephemeral and therefore goes dry occasionally.

Has anyone had any success in doing something similar, and if so - what was your trick?

Amy - my recollection is that the Texas Water Development Board developed a channel model specifically for this case back in the 70s. You might want to try their website.
