Inflow

I am searching for accepted or approved methodologies for estimating peak inflow in sanitary sewers, based on flow monitoring and rain gauge data collected during a short-term (6-month) monitoring period.

Any help or direction in obtaining additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Inflow

I once found a free program that generates unit hydrographs from measured rainfall and hydrographs. It is intended for stream flow, but I found that it will also work on sewers. You can download it from the following site:

ftp://ftp.waterengr.com/uh.exe

Be sure to subtract the base flow from the hydrograph before inputting it into the program.
