CSO Modeling

I need average counts/100ml for Fecal Coliform and E-coli bacteria for a CSO project I am working on. While there is an abundance of information about these counts for CSO effluent (overflow), there is very little information about the sanitary component. That is, what are the counts for santitary inflow? Or perhaps a partioning model that estimates the contribution of bacteria based on the total CSO inflow? Perhaps factor for the E-coli based on a Fecal counts?

I am currently using a value of 1E7 to 1E8 for Fecal, as reference by EPA and Metcalf & Eddy. These are averages at best. However, I am more interested in the diurnal variations, that is, what is the max and min throughout the day for e-coli in sanitary?

When thinking about this question, consider the recent article in Civil Engineering News about sewage collection and treatment which clearly shows ( in an illustration) that water quality modelers should consider the diurnal variations, particularly for continuous simulations.

Any ideas?
Kurt
