no water in network but still there is pressure!!!

Hi All,
I am having the following problem in one irrigation model developed using Epanet. your help and advice are appritiated.
the attached file represents the irrigation network which consisted of 2 loops.
- At a specific time, pump 1 is asked to be shut down, and all the pipes that connect loop1 and loop2 will be closed, hence loop 1 will be recieving no water from neither pump1 nor loop2, this is done through a rule-based control. Pump2 will keep on pumping to feed loop2
The problem:
even though loop 1 is not recieving any water, one can still see pressure on the nodes of loop1 (see the attached file for more clarifications).
is this a bug in the Epanet? or is there a way to overcome this problem? why is this happing anyhow?
regards
Firas
