HEC-HMS error

I am constructing a new basin model within an existing HMS model. When I set up a run file and make a simulation, I get the following errors:

ERROR: Record does not exist: //A9_6/STORAGE-FLOW///LEIGHTON_LPS_EXST/
ERROR: Cannot read storage-outflow table for A9_6
ERROR: Invalid elevation-storage-outflow table for A9_6

These errors are repeated for all the storage reservoirs in the model, but the stage/storage/outflow data is there in the graphical user interface. I assume that something isn't linked correctly in the DSS file, but I can't seem to trouble-shoot the problem. I've checked the pathnames in the .met and .hms files, and everything seems to be correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have had similar problems. Try truncating the dss file path. In other words, HMS cannot access a dss file from deeply nested folders (From what I understand). Also, if the dss "file name" has more than 6 characters, HMS has issues.

Thank you for your response. You are right, once the dss file becomes extremely large, HMS has trouble making a run. Once a run crashes, it seems to corrupt the basin model. To get around it, I just started a new HMS project and then imported the basin, met, and control data that I needed.
