HEC HMS - Evapotranspiration missing?!?!!

Is anyone knows where "Evaporation Pattern" is located?!

From the user manual it is supposed to be between Groundmelt Pattern and Meltrate Pattern from the Paired Data menu on the scroll list. When I scroll it down, I cannot find it!!! In fact it is the only one caracteristic that is missing when I compare the menu with the manual....

The reason is because I'm actually trying to convert a SSARR model to compare it with HEC HMS v3.0.1. The evapotranspiration (ETP) in SSARR is influence by different criterias (temperature, month, rainfall intensity, SMI). I suppose I could include them in my HEC HMS simulation by using the "Evaporation Pattern"!

Please help!!

Regards,

Andrew

Although this is the HEC-RAS forum, let me see if I can help out

In HMS 3.0.1, you set evapotranspiration in the Meteorologic Model.

In addition, this is copied directly from the User's Manual:

Evapotranspiration is the second of the three components of a meteorologic model. It is the combination of evaporation from the ground surface and transpiration by vegetation. It is only required if the meteorologic model will be used with subbasins that use continuous simulation loss rate methods: deficit constant, gridded deficit constant, soil moisture accounting, and gridded soil moisture accounting. Even if those methods are used in the subbasins, an evapotranspiration method is not required. If a continuous simulation loss rate method is used and no evapotranspiration is specified in the meteorologic model, then zero evapotranspiration is used in the subbasins. In all cases, the meteorologic model is computing the potential evapotranspiration and subbasins will calculate actual evapotranspiration based on soil water limitations.
