Linking Hec-HMS with DSS

I have been trying to run HEC-HMS automatically under command line mode. Rainfall data gathered from SCADA system was converted to DSS format and stored in the DSS file with the correct path specified

The data is supposed to be regular time series data for the precipitation gages.

However, when I run the the model, it fails.

I tried running the model under regular mode and I noticed that it fails giving the following error message:

ERROR 20657: Hyetograph gage "RB2" for subbasin "B2" can not be used because it has data type "".
ERROR 20657: Hyetograph gage "RB3" for subbasin "B3" can not be used because it has data type "".

This is not true as I do have correct data in the DSS file. If I click on the time series data (as shown in jpeg file attached ) and I run the model again the problem is resolved. The problem is I would need to manually click on each time series data.

Can anyone help me on this. Running Hec-HMS this way is unusual but I want the process to be automated. The control files the gage files and other file necessary for running Hec-HMS can be created by a separate software.
