no manual entry allowed

Hi,

I'm running into a problem when I try to insert a time series data for a precipitation gage using "manual entry". HMS (v3.0.1 or 3.1.0) does not allow me to enter any data manually, even though the option is chosen. Also, it always shows the fields for latitude and longitude, never shows the single field for gave elevation. Am I doing something wrong? Running on XP SP2.

Thanks,
egcp

Re: no manual entry allowed

When you create a time-series gage you must select a time window. You should see a "+" sign next to each time-series gage. Click the "+" sign to see all time windows created for the gage. By default there is 1, 01jan2000, 00:00 - 02jan2000, 00:00. When you select a time-window in the watershed explorer, you will see 4-tabs in the component editor, time-series gage, time window, table, and graph. You should be able to enter the time-series data on the Table tab.

You cannot define an elevation for a precipitation gage. Only temperature gages need an elevation (really only if they are used in the temperature index snow melt model).

Re: no manual entry allowed

Dear All,

I am having the same problem. Once I clicked on the time series data 0112000, 00:00-0212000, 00:00, only one tab "Time-series Gauge" appears on component editor section. I can't find other three tabs? Please help me.
