HEC-GeoHMS Error in HMS Data Check

I am creating a distributed hydrologic model using HEC-GeoHMS. I have an error message in "HEC Check Data" step. The error message says as follows:

Error in HMS.SKL.CheckSkelContainRiver at 3925
Wrong class for parameter 1 of request Contains. Got a(n) List,
expected a(n) Shape

Error
Assertion "NUMB_AsCValue: Valid CType" failed at line 990 of file
"..\avenue\numb.c"

After these error messages occurred in two small error windows, SkelConsChk.txt file was created. There, CHECKING SUMMARY says "River Containment - total of nil problems".

When I ignored these error messages and continued the processing, an error message at the "HMS Project Setup" stage says that "A(n) Nil object does not recognize request IsAtEnd".

Can anyone have experienced this problem before? It would be really appreciated if you can share any of your thoughts.

Thanks,
Gi-Choul

Re: HEC-GeoHMS Error in HMS Data Check

I solved the problem. The error message was from soils data. There was a very small empty polygon inside. When I reprocessed the soils data, the error message was gone and working fine in HEC-HMS.
