Hec HMS Gridded Rainfall

I am a first time user of HEC-HMS model. I would like to do distributed runoff modeling for an area in Africa. The projections provided in geoHMS do not help me much?? I believe!
I am thus trying to develop daily rainfall grids to use?

Can someone help me know if and how this is possible?
