Geo-HMS Error - Basin

I am trying to export a Basin file out of arcmapand I get the following error;

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {14BD74CF-DF42-491A-BEE7-8437E6BB0B93} Failed due to the following error 8004154 Basin file location = C\trisha\layers.basin

Anybody got ideas?

Trish

Re: Geo-HMS Error - Basin

Hmm,

Hard to say what's going on.

Which version of GEO-Hms are you using? The Beta?

Rodrigo.

HEC-GeoHMS, ArcGIS: Problems generating "background map file" and "basin file"

Hi,

exactly at the same step, generating "background map file" and "basin file", I get the same error as mentioned by Trish:

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {14BD74CF-DF42-491A-BEE7-8437E6BB0B93} failed due to the following error: 80040154. Map file location=C:\documents and settings\administrator.d-uwis01\desktop\buoh\buoh.map

We tried to install the HEC-GeoHMS as suggested in those instructions mentioned by esri (forums.esri.com/Attachments/30875.doc). The only hint we could find is the following blog-entry:

John Selkirk - GIS Dev Ramblings

Not being programmers and not possessing the HEC-GeoHMS source code we are not able to solve the problem as described.
Trish, were you able to solve this problem at the end? Or does anyone else have an idea what kind of problem this is and how this problem can be solved? Any help is appreciated a lot.

Thanks in advance,

It is a default process time or anything else.
