Difference in HEC-HMS & HEC-1

I am working on a project of recreating a hydrologic model of an area that was originally created in HEC-1. I have a print out of the input and output files but nothing electronic. So I retyped the HEC-1 input file and tried to run it in HEC-1. I am getting a "floating-point error, divide by zero" I have exhausted all my ideas of what is the problem with the file so I decided to try and model the system in HEC-HMS. I compiled the entire basin using the exact same inputs as the HEC-1 file showed and ran the model. When I compare the results from HEC-HMS and HEC-1, they are vastly different. Some sub-basins are 150% different in the peak flow values but others are only 5%. I can't seem to find where any of the inputs are different between the two files. Can anyone help me out and look at this or give me suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Andy
