Maximum Number of Cross-Section Points in HEC-RAS

We are having difficulty finding out how to raise the default maximum number of cross-section points from 100 to something between 100 points and the true maximum of 500 points. The Help feature says that the command should be on the bottom of the "options" menu of the "cross-section" window. It is non-existent in the 2.2 version for 1998 we are using.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
chad

Re: Maximum Number of Cross-Section Points in HEC-RAS

You are seeing this in the HEC-RAS online help file. It is a left over artifact from an earlier version of HEC-RAS. This option no longer exists in HEC-RAS, since HEC-RAS now fully supports 500 ground points per cross-section.

Chad -

Version 2.2 should have the default of 500 points. I don't think that the user can adjust the number of points without modifying the code. It may be that your copy has a "bug". I would recommend upgrading to the latest version.
