[HEC-USERS] unsteady flow

Thanks for the feedback on HEC-DSS. I don't anticipate becoming a power user, so as suggested by Bill Heatherman and James Bernard, I tried to cut/paste two hydrographs from a spreadsheet into the unsteady flow window for upstream boundary conditions. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and I can't get it to work. I used cut/paste from a spreadsheet to create cross-sections (station/elevation) in the geometry window. Cut/paste doesn't seem to work in the unsteady flow window. First I changed the time step to 5 minutes and the no. of ordinates to 4977. Then I tried cut/paste without success.

I have attached the model and spreadsheet in a zip file. The spreadsheet has 5 minute flow data. The hydrographs for Kelly Creek and Johnson Creek each have 4977 data points. The flow hydrograph boundary conditions are located at section 576 on Kelly Creek and section 3645 on Johnson Creek.

The thought of typing in 2 x 4977 data points is not my idea of how to bring in the new year. Could someone give this a try?

Thanks,
Janet Corsale, P.E.
