DTM Module importing from HEC-RAS

Chris,

Can I import HEC-RAS results into DTM Module and manipulate them? I
want to be able to pull in proposed channel alignments, cross sections,
plot floodplain limits, or do whatever I can.

Also, DTM Module claims the ability to "Densify Vertices" on polylines
but it can't. Well, it can but there is no rhyme or reason when. If I
ever used polyline edit in AutoCAD on a polyline, DTM Module can't seem
to densify the vertices. Sometimes it has no reason why it won't work.
Other times it will finally densify the vertices but then shift them all
over the place into weird locations, screwing up the line. HELP! I
need this command all of the time and can't ever get it to work. I once
tried to contact the people at Schreiber but they were very
uncooperative.

Dear Dan :

Note that RMS and DTM Module work in conjunction with each other quite
well. The standard Army Corps HEC-RAS program does not support DTM
Module or AutoCAD at all. I have used DTM Module for creating channel
improvement (modification) cuts, flood levees, etc. on many flood
projects. It works great!

I have not had the problems you are describing with the densify vertices
and DTM Module. Perhaps there is something unique about the polyline(s)
you are using? Are they lightweight polylines? Or, perhaps 3D polylines?
Can you perhaps send me a small sample drawing file that I can look at
to see the problem?
