Variables to display in the profile plot

I found a bug in HEC RAS 3.1 and I don't know how resolve it. When I changed the variables to display in the menu of profile plot window all the variables were turned off and then I was no more able to turn on the variables to display. This is happened on 2 computer with windows98 2ed OS and on a computer with WindowsXP prof.ed OS. I tried to reinstall HECRAS 3.1 but I had no results. Is there anyone who have found this bug and resolved it?

Thank you

Re: Variables to display in the profile plot

Thanks Marko!

Following your advice I tried on W2K prof. and it works well. I tried on an other computer with win98 2ed and it worked too. Now I don't understand why it doesn't work on my computers. Maybe I have some programs conflicting with hecras 3.1 It's very strange!

Re: Variables to display in the profile plot

I have the same problem with Win98 & WIN2000 but not with WIN95. A hint to get rid of that problem is to save a copy of registery base list of windows BEFORE installing HEC-RAS and re-copy it when needed. Hope this will help you.

Re: Variables to display in the profile plot

Giovanni,

Sometimes I,ve had similar problems in HEC-RAS 3.1. I've solved it by changing PC configuration for American English Language. Hope it helps.

Re: Variables to display in the profile plot

I experienced the same situation.
Delete Hec-Ras from your pc and re-install Hec-Ras in a different directory (a different name than the original, even if the original one has been deleted). It works with Win98 and others.
