Hec-Ras 3.0 vs 3.1.1

Hi,

Are the file formats compatible between Hec-Ras 3.0 & 3.1.1 ?? (ie. can Hec-Ras 3.0 fully use/open Hec-Ras 3.1.1 files, and vice-versa)

I'm having a problem running RAS in 3.0 but NOT in 3.1.1 or 3.1. The geometry file is 3.1 MB. Is there a restriction on file size in 3.0? I have run a 2.8 MB file successfully in 3.0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
