Problem processing HEC-RAS unsteady flow data

Hi,

I am a new user of HEC-RAS and I have a problem for the computation of an unsteady simulation.

Everything is alright for the geometry processor, the unsteady flow simulation is quite good and the water elevations in the computation message window are perfectly corrects. The trouble occurs during the post-process, when HEC is not able to read the DSS file and send me this message:

" Error reading data from path: /1.05 inl struct gate #1/gate openning//10min/plan/ no record were found (the data returned all -902's) "

The 1.05 station is the one with a gate fully open. I do not really understand what this means because I really complete the windows of the gate opening in the option menu of the unsteady simulation window.

I only have a main channel with a weir gated (or spillway gated), the height of the gate is 1 m.

I would be really pleased if someone could give me a piece of information about that. Thanks in advance,

Yohann.

Re: Problem processing HEC-RAS unsteady flow data

Dear Yohann Grisard :

The problem is the directory path appears to be too long, as well as having a double front slash "//" in the path. I I would suggest checking the input data. Or, perhaps the DSS output file from UNET is messed up.
