Adjusting Flows in a Reach

Can anyone help,

I am trying to model a river and remove flows via a lateral weir upstream and then further down stream increase the flows again. The problem is when I use the steady flow editor and add a change in flows downstream it either gives me zero flows or not the flows I told it to use.

The lateral weirs are working fine, the flows go:

7.5 top of reach
3.35 after lateral weir

I set flows back to 7.5 approximatly 100m downstream of the lateral weir, the flows in the results I get show 3.35.

if I use a value of around 4 flows in the results are shown as 0.

Please help I don't understand!!!!!

Cheers

Re: Adjusting Flows in a Reach

You may be doing this in your model already but if you are not . . . you are able to assign a tailwater connection to designate where flows re-enter the main reach. This would eliminate the need to "set the flows back to 7.5" in the flow file. Hopefully this helps.
