Weir Skew Angle

I am currently running HEC-RAS version 3.1.3. My user manual describes how to input a skew angle for an inline weir structure.

However, in my version there is no sign of a skew angle input box beside the DISTANCE/WIDTH/WEIR COEFFICIENT box.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I do not expect it to have a large influence on my model one way or another, but if anyone feels otherwise, I would like to hear your views.

(the skew angle is 55 degrees)

Thank you

Re: Weir Skew Angle

In the current HEC-RAS 4.0b Reference manual this is not indicated anymore. I.e. inline structures such as embankments/weirs/gates cannot be skewed! It would be nice though if skewed weirs (duckbill) would be included in a future version.

Regards, Teunis
