Energy Loss Warning

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a steady flow analysis on a river with a very shallow slope (0.001ft/ft), left/right bank n values of 0.08 and a channel n value of 0.04 (throughout the model), and I continue to get the energy loss warning we all love. These warnings happen in straight sections and bends. I am ignoring these warnings when they happen at only one cross-section but I get a little concerned when they happen at five cross-sections in a row. My question is, where can I find the value in HEC-RAS that corresponds to the energy loss to evaluate the need to either change the manning values, interpolate new cross-sections or just let it be? I appreciate any comments that might lead me in the right direction.

Thanks Everyone,

Zach
