how to run hec6

dear all

I am a new user of hec6 and i prepare the file and try to run it with hec6.exe but it does'nt work could any body told me the main steps to run the program and if I need to run any file else

do u have file of Hec-6 executables version 4.2... it works for windows xp/2000

I has try n it works... or maybe u can try Hec-rass 4 version beta, its better than Hec 6

first install hec6 then u will find folder of hecexe and hec-6installation... open folder hecexe then run "hec6menu" , the menu window will show up n if u want to start it u can choose point "2.create/edit input file", write new filename n enter then the window will dissapear. after that, the aplication "runfile" will show in hecexe folder so run it, finally u will start hec 6.
