Storage areas

Hi,

I need to model a storage area. I study the user's manual but i wonder how it runs!! Indeed the water can go in the SA by a lateral structure but how the water go out? Is possible to link the SA to a cross section in the way SA to XS.

Thanks for yours answers.

You can connect a XS to a storage area. When you draw the reach, just drag the reach into the SA and RAS will connect it. If the reach already exists, go to the Edit menu, select Move Object. Grab the end of the reach and drag it into the SA.

And you can also use a lateral structure to get flow back out of a SA.

If you want to understand how something "runs", look in the Hydraulic Reference manual (not the user's manual).
