Hello,

In practice, in my model, I have two channels a primary and one secondary connected together.

The water must scroll in one of two selected by me through banks lines.

When launching the simulation water does not follow the channel to be set but take me preferential directions.

I hope you can help, thanks again.

I do not know if I understand it well. Maybe this happen because in the sections where the flow goes away from the channel, there is a smaller level than the same channel, then the water goes by this low points. If it is thus, you must put levees and AINEFF to solve it. IF I have not understood well, give me more information.

Hello, thank you for the answer to work.

I wanted to ask you another thing:

I have a problem with a storage area: I wanted to know if the storage area can work work on steady mode (or if the volume inside changes) and in this case, if you know how to connect the storage area with the river.

Excuse the noise and yet so thanks for the reply.

Well, never I have worked with storages area, but I think that if you need to know the variations the volume, necessarily you need to work in unsteady flow. In Steadyflow, you will not know as they vary the volumes and storage areas, if are connected to the flow, you must to work it with ineffective areas.
If you find out more about this subject, could you write me?

Thanks so much for your help!

For my problem I have made use of ineffective flow, because, as you said I can assess changes in volume in the storage area in unsteady mode, however, try to investigate this matter and if I discover something you do know.

Thanks again.
