Deck/Roadway Data Editor - Skew Bridge Measurments

I have a question about the distance that has to be placed in the Deck/Roadway Data Editor for a skew bridge. I know that is the distance from the upstream face of the structure to the next upstream cross section. But, Do I measure the distance along the river alignment, or perpendicular to the cross sections and the face.
In the other hand the width of the structure, Does it has to be measured along the flow, or perpendicular to the downstream and upstream faces?

If I understand your question correctly, you need to measure downstream lengths along the centerline of the channel just as you would do for cross sections. The width of the structure is also measured along the centerline of flow because you want to account for what the water is encountering along its flow path.
